Vistage recently released their quarterly CEO Confidence Index, which yields some troubling results. In short, only 14 percent of CEOs anticipate improvement in 2019. While there is little confidence in the economy, it’s not keeping businesses from hiring. In fact, Nearly 65 percent of organizations plan to expand their workforce this year, and of those, almost half plan to hire new workers in the first two quarters of this year.
